CAN WE CUSTOMIZE A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES TO FIT OUR NEEDS?

Yes, we offer several standard wedding photography packages that include popular coverage and services. However, our wedding photo packages can be customized to meet your preferences and unique wedding day. The cost of the custom package would be determined by the value of the goods and services selected so please contact the studio for details. 


CAN WE MEET IN PERSON BEFORE WE BOOK?

We always prefer to meet with our clients before deciding if the relationship will be a good fit and the initial meeting is very important to make sure that we will be comfortable working together. Obviously, you must enjoy the work produced by your photographer, but it is equally important to "click" with the person you are hiring. After all, we will spend plenty of time together on one of the most important days of your life and that relationship will continue even after the wedding if a wedding album is selected in the package.


ARE WE ALLOWED TO PRINT OUR WEDDING PHOTOS WITH A LAB OF OUR CHOICE OR DO WE HAVE TO BUY THEM THROUGH YOU?

All of our packages grant unlimited, perpetual reproduction rights to the client through a license. You are not obligated to purchase prints through our Studio and you may choose any vendor to create the prints. When a wedding, engagement or portrait session is delivered, the Studio includes a certificate that clearly and simply explains this provision. Most reputable photo labs check for this permission and won’t print the photos unless you can provide written permission or a release. However, we do prefer to help our clients manage their prints since we utilize proven labs that deliver consistently superior quality. But the choice is left to the client.


HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR WEDDING PHOTOS?

The Studio always strives to deliver your wedding photographs as quickly as possible. Typically, photographs are delivered 3-4 weeks after an event, but that can vary depending upon the time of year. This workflow allows the Studio enough time to carefully edit each image for superior quality and color to ensure that each client enjoys an outstanding result. 


CAN WE SEE A SNEAK PEEK OF OUR WEDDING PHOTOS?

Yes! Our clients enjoy sneak peeks of their wedding and engagement photos. In today’s digital world, clients expect a quick turn-around time. And while processing an entire wedding in a couple days isn’t feasible, wedding highlights are always posted to social media the next day – or sometimes even the same day. Once the photos are up, clients are welcome to share the photos with friends and family on Facebook - or on other photo sharing sites. 


HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOGRAPHS?

Wedding and engagement photos are delivered on a custom USB drive that is compatible with modern MAC and PC computers. Gone are the days when photos are delivered or archived on a CD or DVD. Most newer computers don’t even have a slot to read an external disk – so you’ll be sure to have the latest technology when you work with our Studio.


WHAT TYPE OF DIGITAL FILES DO YOU DELIVER?

We provide files to our clients in high-resolution (300dpi/sRGB) for printing and low-resolution (72dpi/sRGB) for email, social media and the web. We do not watermark the photos and the images will display crisp and colorfully on both a Mac and PC. With both of these file resolutions, an unlimited reproduction rights, you will have total flexibility with how your photos are viewed and printed. 


CAN WE SHARE OUR PHOTOS WITH FRIENDS, FAMILY AND ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Yes. Sharing photos with friends and family through email and social media is very important - especially if loved ones live far away or are unable to make it to the wedding. The Studio provides images formats suitable for email, web and social media to make sure that you can easily stay connected with loved ones.


WILL WE RECEIVE EVERY PHOTO TAKEN AT OUR WEDDING OR ENGAGEMENT?

No. The Studio takes great care in editing your photos to tell a focused, powerful and compelling story of your day. We edit your images so that the strongest images are showcased and the best angles are chosen with the most flattering lighting scenarios. We want you to look your best, therefore, each photograph is carefully selected, edited and delivered.


ARE THE PHOTOS RETOUCHED?

Yes, photos created by the Studio feature basic editing which optimizes the brightness, color, contrast and sharpness of each photo. The Studio also provides advanced editing services such as smoothing skin and removing distracting backgrounds. When an album is selected in the package, the images that are selected for the final book receive the advanced editing treatment.


DO YOU PROVIDE ALL PHOTOS IN COLOR AND BLACK AND WHITE?

No, we do not provide every image to the client in multiple color variations. The Studio uses creative judgment to determine whether a particular photo looks best in color or black and white. Your photo collection will have a nice mix of classic color and black and white images. The editing style of the Studio is timeless so your photos will not include trendy editing of special effects that will go out of style.


WHO RETAINS THE COPYRIGHT TO THE IMAGES?

Since the photograph was created by the photographer, the copyright would remain with the photographer / studio. The client receives an unlimited license to the photos once payments are made in full to the Studio / Photographer.


DO YOU HAVE A “HOLDING PERIOD” POLICY FOR OUR PHOTOS?

No. The Studio does not believe in "withholding" the images from you for a designated period of time after your event. The Studio always works as quickly as possible to deliver your images – we know you are excited to see them!


CAN WE SELL OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS AS STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY?

Clients of the studio have wide flexibility regarding how their photographs are printed and used. However, we do not permit photographs created by the Studio to be sold as stock photography.


WHAT TYPE OF CAMERA EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

I use state-of-the-art, professional camera and lighting equipment that helps me consistently deliver stunning clarity and color in digital files, prints, wedding albums and wall art. My equipment, coupled to my photographic experience and knowledge, allow me to capture beautiful photographs in even the darkest of churches and wedding reception venues. No matter how dark or challenging the lighting conditions may be, you’ll be able enjoy great photographs.


DO YOU HAVE BACKUP EQUIPMENT?

Yes, I always carry backup equipment in the rare case of an equipment malfunction. At a wedding, it is best to be prepared for everything since there are no second chances to re-capture special moments. 


CAN YOU PROVIDE REFERENCES?

Yes, I would be happy to provide references from past wedding photography clients to give you insight about what it was like to work with me. That feedback can be important and assist you in making the right wedding photographer selection for your day.
